In a lengthy note on Instagram the Crazy In Love singer wrote, Happy Sunday I typically keep comments short and sweet, but I just watched the trailer with my family and I’m excited. please don’t get me hype Black Is King is a labor of love. It is my passion project that I have been filming, researching and editing day and night for the past year.
I’ve given it my all and now it’s yours. It was originally filmed as a companion piece to The Lion King: The Gift soundtrack and meant to celebrate the breadth and beauty of Black ancestry. I could never have imagined that a year later, all the hard work that went into this production would serve a greater purpose.

India says no to Pak offer on Kartarpur
The Indian media citing government sources on Saturday reported that New Delhi has rejected a proposal by Pakistan to reopen the Kartarpur Corridor on June 29, saying that cross border travel had been temporarily suspended as part of measures to prevent and contain the spread of COVID 19.
While Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said on Saturday Pakistan will reopen the Kartarpur Corridor for all Sikh pilgrims on June 29. As places of worship open up across the world Pakistan prepares to reopen the Kartarpur Sahib Corridor for all Sikh pilgrims conveying to the Indian side our readiness to reopen the corridor on 29 June, 2020 the occasion of the death anniversary of Maharajah Ranjeet Singh, Qureshi tweeted. Pakistan has conveyed its readiness to the Indian side to reopen Kartarpur Corridor on June 29, on the occasion of the death anniversary of Maharajah Ranjeet Singh, with unofficial Indian sources’ responding that this was too short notice.
To ensure adherence to the health guidelines, Pakistan has invited India to work out necessary SOP for reopening of the Corridor, the Foreign Office announced Saturday.
The Corridor was temporarily closed on 16 March, 2020 due to the COVID 19 pandemic. As the religious places are gradually opening up around the world, Pakistan has also made necessary arrangements to reopen Kartarpur Sahib Corridor for Sikh pilgrims, added the statement from the Ministry.
While as yet there was no formal response from New Delhi which was caught on the back foot several Indian journalist were quoting an identical source, most likely the Ministry of External Affairs, which says, ”Cross-border travel temporarily suspended due to COVID 19 pandemic India to decide on reopening after consultation with health authorities and other stakeholders.
These sources point out that Pakistan was simply trying to create mirage of goodwill, by proposing to reopen Kartarpur Corridor at short notice of just two days, while bilateral agreement says India has to share information on pilgrims with Pakistan seven days before date of travel.
Also the same Indian ‘source’ adds that, Pakistan hasn’t built a bridge on its side across flood plains of Ravi River despite committing to this in bilateral agreement. Bridge would allow safe movement of pilgrims during monsoon.
The Kartarpur Corridor says the Foreign Office is a true symbol of peace and religious harmony. This landmark initiative by the Government of Pakistan has been immensely appreciated by the Sikh community all over the world including India. The first Guru of Sikhism, Baba Guru Nanak Sahib, had spent the last 18 years of his life in Kartarpur, it adds.
Meanwhile, the Indian government Saturday rejected a proposal by Pakistan to reopen the Kartarpur Corridor on June 29, saying that cross-border travel had been temporarily suspended as part of measures to prevent and contain the spread of COVID 19.
Describing Pakistan's move to open the corridor in 2 days as a mirage of goodwill, government sources said this would only undermine the bilateral agreement which required India to share information with Pakistan a week before the date of travel.

Official sources here said though that Pakistan was trying to create a mirage of goodwill by proposing to resume Kartarpur corridor on June 29, at a short notice of 2 days, while the bilateral agreement provided for information to be shared by India with Pakistan side at least 7 days before the date of travel. PM Imran hits out India over atrocities in Kashmir
Prime Minister Imran Khan slammed Indian atrocities and human rights violations in occupied Kashmir on Friday as the world marked the International Day in Support of Victims of Torture.
Taking to Twitter, the prime minister called on the global community to take note of the torture and inhumane treatment faced by the people of occupied Kashmir at the hands of the Indian armed forces.
He said that the people of occupied Kashmir braved pellet guns sexual assault electrocution, and physical and mental torture.

PM Imran to get briefing on situation at LOC
PM Imran is expected to go on a one day visit to Muzaffarabad today Friday where he will be briefed on the COVID 19 situation in the area and the situation at the LOC.
PM Imran will hold meetings with the prime minister of Azad Kashmir and president. He is expected to inaugurate the Kohala Power Project as well.
The premier will address an event in Muzaffarabad. He will be briefed on the government's initiatives such as the Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme and is expected to distribute cheques under the Ehsaas programme among the people.

He said violence was ongoing in Kashmir earlier as well but under the Modi government, children had lost their eyes due to the Indian Army's use of pellet guns, thousands including 10- and 11 year old kids were taken to jails and mass graves were discovered.

"I'm proud to help such people. Health cards will be given to 1.2 million people in Azad Kashmir," the premier explained, adding that people would be able to get treatment worth up to Rs1 million for free.

Rumours were abuzz since February that Ariana Grande is in a relationship with real estate agent Dalton Gomez when the lovebirds were first seen together.

Jennifer stunned emergency room medic Cassidy Toben during a video chat for NBC's virtual Peacock At Home Variety Show for which she was interviewed about working on the front lines
In the middle of the chat, the co-hosts noted Toben was a J.Lo super fan and then pretended to give the On the Floor hit maker a call, before she appeared onscreen, much to the nurse's surprise.

Twitter hides Trump tweet targeting protestors calls it abusive
WASHINGTON Twitter on Tuesday hid a tweet from President Donald Trump in which he threatened to use serious force against protesters in the US capital saying it broke rules over abusive content.
The move appeared to be the first by Twitter against the president for an abusive tweet In a growing dispute, the platform has recently labeled other Trump tweets as misleading and violating its standards on promoting violence.

The action by Twitter requires users to click through to read the Trump tweet, with a tag on the message that it violated the Twitter rules about abusive behavior but that it would remain accessible in the public's interest

Twitter's move escalated the battle between the White House and social media firms which Trump has accused of bias against conservatives despite his own large following
The president has already signed an executive order which could lead to more government oversight of social media firms, despite doubts about its legal authority.
The Trump administration has also signaled it wants to overhaul a law that gives online services immunity from content posted by others, a move which could open the floodgates to litigation.
Twitter said in a statement to AFP it took the action Tuesday because the tweet violated its policy against abusive behavior with a threat of harm against an identifiable group.
Twitter's policy in dealing with world leaders in most cases calls for violating messages to be labeled which limits its reach and prevents others from liking or retweeting it but leaves the tweets available because if they relate to ongoing matters of public importance.
The new, aggressive stand by Twitter on rule breaking by the president stands in contrast with Facebook which has maintained a largely hands off policy despite pressure from activists to curb inflammatory content.
Facebook did remove a Trump ad last week that contained a symbol used in Nazi Germany for political prisoners saying it violated the platform's policy against organized hate.

Dia Mirza opens up on the impact of Parineeta on her career 15 years later
Dia Mirza recently took a trip down memory lane remembering her experiences on the set of Parineeta. With over 15 years passed since the release of her film back in 2005 Mirza referred to it as a life changing opportunity.
She stated “Even back then I was so desperate to be part of something meaningful and work with a team I could learn from. When Vidhu Vi-nod Chopra gave me the opportunity to be part of Parineeta I was so grateful. It was such a wonderful experience. It was the first time that I saw such a great amount of method in the madness.
Not only did it launch her career, but also provided her the opportunity to make life long friends. She was quoted saying, I remember the entire process of prepping for the film and actively promoting the film with Sanjay Dutt sir and Saif Ali Khan as Vidya was kept unrevealed until the release of the film.
She concluded by saying Vidya and I laugh about it that we’ve some connection from another lifetime. We’ve been such integral parts of each other’s lives and journeys. There are very special bonds and memories attached to Parineeta.
Ring of fire solar eclipse to be visible in some Pakistani cities on June 21
KARACHI: A solar eclipse is set to occur on June 21, 2020, and would be visible in Karachi Lahore Islamabad and some other major cities across the country the Pakistan Meteorological Department has said in a statement.
According to the PMD’s Climate Data Processing Center, an annular solar eclipse happens when the Moon covers the Sun's center, leaving the Sun's visible outer edges to form a 'ring of fire' or annulus around the Moon.
The partial eclipse will begin at 8:46 am and end at 2:34 pm while the greatest eclipse will occur at 11:40 am.
Information provided in the statement indicated that cities including Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta Gilgit Muzaffarabad Sukkur and Gwadar would witness the eclipse at various partial levels, with only those in Sukkur to see the annular eclipse in almost its entirety at the Sun's coverage of 98.78%.
Gilgit would have the least Sun's coverage in the eclipse, at 74.88%, the Climate Data Processing Center added.
The PMD noted that apart from Pakistan, the solar eclipse would also be visible in parts of Africa including the Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of the Congo DRC and Ethiopia as well as India and China.

ریاض سعودی عرب کی حکومت نے مسلمانوں کے مقدس ترین شہر مکہ مکرمہ میں سخت حفاظتی اقدامات کے تحت کل سے تمام مساجد کو کھولنے کا اعلان کر دیا ہے
یہ تمام مساجد کورونا وائرس کی وبا کے پھیلاؤ کے باعث گزشتہ تین ماہ سے بند پڑی تھیں۔ سعودی وزارت مذہبی امور نے جمعہ کو جاری ایک بیان میں کہا کہ مساجد کو دوبارہ کھولنے کےلئے احتیاطی تدابیر اختیار کی جائیں گی، جن میں اس بات کو یقینی بنایا جائے گا کہ جائے نماز کو صرف ایک بار استعمال کیا جائے اور نمازی ایک دوسرے سے محفوظ فاصلہ رکھیں
سعودی وزارت نے کہا کہ نماز کے دوران سماجی فاصلے کو یقینی بنانے کےلئے مساجد میں نشانات لگا دیئے گئے ہیں۔ رضاکار مساجد میں داخل ہونے پر نمازیوں کو حفاظتی اقدامات سے بھی آگاہ کریں گے
خیال رہے کہ سعودی عرب میں کورونا کے ڈیڑھ لاکھ سے زیادہ کیسز رپورٹ ہو چکے ہیں جبکہ اس مہلک وائرس سے ہلاک ہونے والے افراد کی تعداد 1184 تک .پہنچ چکی ہے
اس سے قبل وزارت اسلامی امور نے 31 مئی کو مکہ مکرمہ کے علاوہ سعودی عرب کے تمام علاقوں کی مساجد کھول دی تھیں اور طے کر دیا تھا کہ اگر کوئی بڑی تبدیلی واقع نہ ہوئی تو ایسی صورت میں اتوار 21 جون سے مکہ مکرمہ کی مساجد بھی نمازیوں کے لیے کھول دی جائیں گی
